Board of Trustees - Executive Committee

The NAPFA Foundation Board of Trustees drives our mission of promoting consumer financial education through pro-bono financial advice. Trustees serve a two-year term. The Board typically meets monthly by phone to discuss the direction of the Foundation and determine priorities. Trustees also serve on a committee of their choice.

Danielle Seurkamp, MS, MPAS®, FBS®, CFP®

President

Danielle is the Principal and Founder of Well Spent Wealth Planning in Cincinnati, Ohio. She advises and supports individuals and families at all stages of life. Her passion is to help people achieve and enjoy financial success by making the best use of their financial and non-financial resources. She has a Master’s Degree in Financial Planning and maintains three professional certifications as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, a Master Planner Advanced Studies®, and a Certified Financial Behavioral Specialist®.

Danielle has volunteered for NAPFA/Kiplinger Maximize Your Money Days and founded a financial wellness program for Cincinnati’s Center for Respite Care to help people reestablish financial security and transition out of homelessness.

Amy E. Irvine, CFP®, EA, CCFC, MPAS®

Vice President

Amy is the Founder/Owner of Rooted Planning Group. Amy has had varied experiences in her financial career and successfully transitioned to opening her own firm, the Rooted Planning Group in 2016. She currently serves on the Finance Committee for Fund for Women of the Southern Tier, the Endowment Committee for ART's Council of the Southern Finger Lakes, and the Corning-Painted Post Historical Society and has previously served on the board for Faith-in-Action Steuben County, the and on the Human Ecology Committee for Cornell Cooperative Extension.

Amy remains dedicated to having more diversity in the profession empowered through education as evidenced by her involvement with the NAPFA Education Committee and previous tenure with the XYPN Diversity Committee. She is looking forward to becoming a member of the NAPFA Board and believes Leadership isn't about one action or one person, but “how a group of individuals can collaborate to grow.”

Jamie Milne, CFP®

Secretary / Treasurer

Jaime started Milne Financial Planning and became a NAPFA member in 1996 after working as a MassMutual agent and in banking. As a “happy and solo” practitioner, Jamie has three offices in Vermont: South Burlington, Barre and St. Johnsbury. Jamie is currently Secretary/Treasurer of the NAPFA Foundation. He also served on the NAPFA National Board of Directors from 2002-2005, and as chair of the NAPFA National Board of Directors in 2004. In addition to his services with NAPFA and the NAPFA Foundation, Jamie serves as treasurer of the Thaddeus Stevens School in Lyndonville, Vermont, as well as secretary of the St. Johnsbury Rotary Club.

Feraud Calixte, J.D., CFP®

Board Liaison

Feraud Calixte is a Senior Financial Advisor at Modera Wealth Management, LLC. His role involves working with clients to formulate planning goals, develop and implement wealth management strategies, and monitor clients’ progress towards their financial and investment goals.

Prior to joining Modera, Feraud was founder and lead financial planner of a boutique financial planning firm - Vantage Pointe Planning. Feraud worked as an advisor for several large national wealth management firms. He is passionate about helping families navigte the complexities often associated with finances. Feraud is committed to the financial planning industry and regularly volunteers to teach financial literacy. In addition to serving on the NAPFA Board, he has served on the NAPFA South Region Board, Conference Committee, Membership Committee, and more.

Feraud has been quoted by a variety of publications, such as U.S News & World Report, Yahoo Finance, Investment News, and NAPFA Advisor. Feraud has been recognized by Investment News 40 under 40 as an emerging leader in the industry. He was also interviewed for the Longview Podcast hosted by Morningstar Inc.

Dr. Kristy Archuleta, Ph.D., LMFT, CFT-I

Consumer Liaison

Kristy L. Archuleta is a Professor in the Financial Planning program at the University of Georgia. She holds the Betsy Barnard Sages Endowed Professorship for Financial Therapy and Financial Planning. Prior to joining the UGA faculty, she was an Associate Professor and Director of the Personal Financial Planning program at Kansas State University. She co-founded the Financial Therapy Association, the Journal of Financial Therapy, the nation’s first academic program in financial therapy, the Financial Behavior Keynote Group, and Women Managing the Farm. Dr. Archuleta has garnered national and international attention as a speaker and author who has published numerous scholarly articles and co-edited two books on financial planning, financial therapy, financial counseling, and mental health. She serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, NAFPA’s Consumer Education Foundation, the Financial Therapy Clinical Institute, and two editorial review boards. She is commonly featured in podcasts and major news media outlets, such as the New York Times, Investment News, and CNBC, to name a few, and has won awards for her cutting-edge research. Dr. Archuleta received the Financial Therapy Association’s 2024 Hall of Fame and the 2023 Instructor of the Year awards. She also is a recipient of the Kansas State University College of Human Ecology Myers-Alford Outstanding Teaching Award and the Oklahoma State University College of Human Sciences Distinguished Alumna Award.

Anne Marie E. Ashworth, CFP®

Anne Marie E. Ashworth is a financial advisor with Abacus Planning Group, Inc. As a member of Abacus’s financial planning team, Anne Marie works closely with clients to understand their objectives to develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive financial plan to achieve those goals. Anne Marie also leads Abacus’ People and Organizational Development Team, which is the centerpiece of evolving and communicating employee development and benefits. Anne Marie graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in Business, where she majored in Finance with a concentration in financial planning. She joined Abacus in June of 2015 and earned the CFP® designation in May of 2017. Anne Marie previously served on the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) South Region Board. She also volunteers in her profession and community and is currently a member of New Horizon Family Health Services’ board of directors and the Greenville Estate Planning Council board.

Tom Bradley

Tom Bradley oversees the ASG segment of Schwab’s advisor business, which provides custodial support services customized to independent Registered Investment Advisors with AUM of $300+ million He is responsible for the TD Ameritrade Advisor Services custody business as well as the integration of that business into Schwab. Tom spent three decades at TD Ameritrade, mostly in the service of independent advisors. He served as president of TD Ameritrade’s Institutional business for 12 years prior to becoming president of the firm’s Retail Distribution unit. Tom is a graduate of the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business.

Michael D. Gibney, AIF®, CFP®, CAP®

Michael D. Gibney is a Principal and Wealth Manager at Modera Wealth Management, LLC. Michael is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and has earned the AIF® - Accredited Investment Fiduciary® professional designation and a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® professional designation. He served as the Governance Chair for the NJ Metro Multiple Sclerosis Society Board of Trustees and remains an active member today. He served as the 2010 Chairman of the New Jersey Financial Planning Association and the 2011-2013 Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the NJ Metro Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Michael Joyce, CFA®, CFP®

Michael is founder and President of Agili. As such, he is responsible for overall investment strategy, management of investment portfolios, and financial counseling services. Michael received a B.S. degree in finance from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from Drexel University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst. Michael is a former chair of the NAPFA National Board of Directors, and past president of the NAPFA Foundation. Michael also currently serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee for the Richmond Forum, and as a member of the Endowment Committee for Lead Virginia.

Deva Panambur, CFA®, CFP®, EA

Deva is the owner of Sarsi, LLC, a fee-only financial advisor based in West New York, NJ and New York City, NY with clients all over the country and abroad. He has served on the National Board, where he was the Treasurer/Secretary, and on the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Region Board of NAPFA. He has a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, India, a Master in International Management from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, India, and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Glendale, AZ.

Deva cherishes the NAPFA community and the sense of belonging it brings with like-minded professionals and considers it a privilege to be given the opportunity to shape the organization’s future.

John Wenzel, CFP®

John Wenzel is the co-founder of Archvest Wealth Advisors. John demonstrates his passion for financial planning via his commitment to serve each of the company’s clients. Prior to Archvest, John worked as a Financial Advisor at a Registered Investment Advisory firm. He is a NAPFA Registered Advisor and a Certified Financial Planner. John has served on the NAPFA West Region board, served in multiple NAPFA committees, the Board of Directors for his local Rotary club, and is a board member of Hope 680, a ministry dedicated to helping the homeless. John likes to spend his time volunteering through his local Rotary club as well as within the financial planning industry itself. He is actively involved in his local church and enjoys photography, mountain biking, and golf when given the opportunity.
